San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park is North Florida's premier mountain biking destination, offering over 20 miles of singletrack trails through one of the last remaining mature forests in the region.

Trail System Overview

The park features trails for all skill levels. Beginner-friendly loops offer smooth, flowing singletrack, while advanced sections feature technical limestone features, root sections, and tight switchbacks through dense subtropical forest.

What to Expect

The trails wind through dense oak hammock forest with towering trees draped in Spanish moss. The limestone terrain provides unique geological features not found in typical Florida mountain biking areas. Trails are well-marked and maintained by the Gainesville Mountain Bike Association.

Trailhead and Parking

The mountain bike trailhead is located at 13201 Progress Blvd, Alachua, FL 32615. There is a $4 per vehicle entrance fee. The park is open from 8am to sunset year-round.
